Snow, Snow, Snow

I set here and try to imagine that I am planting a vegetable or flower garden, I do not handle this weather very well. As a rule I like the changing seasons, but I am a person who needs to get out and do things every once in a while. I enjoy "window shopping" occassionally as I gather a lot of ideas for my crafts in this way. I enjoy renewing something I have for a new and different use. I also browse magazines and other blogs for ideas when I have a mental block of my creativity gene.

I will make something in the kitchen or help my grandchildren with one of their crafts. My grandson and I are working on Valentine pockets for his class.
  1. Instructions to make:
  2. Cut two 5" hearts of cardstock ( or size you desire) for each pocket.
  3. Decorate one of the hearts with stickers or stamp a message on it.
  4. cut various smaller sizes of hearts to put in pocket.
  5. Make one at least 2" stamp a message and sign your name
  6. Sew two 5" hearts together leaving the top open.
  7. These can be sewn with sewing machine or laced with yarn.
  8. If you lace with yarn you will need to punch hole with punch around the area you are to lace.
  9. Put various sized hearts in pocket and candy inside.
This is a quick and easy valentine card for the school children
