This n' That

I am working on making more aprons, I have cut out 3 of the 3 ruffle half ones in children's size 7/8. (Pictured in an earlier post) I used spring colors in bright pinks, greens and yellow. I hope to be able to sell these.
I also plan on having them at the annual Church Bazaar. I like to have several cut out and then when I have time I just start sewing. I will cut some full ones out before I start the sewing. I will make some in various blues, greens, fruit prints, poka dots and girly prints. I will make some in denim for the men or boys also. These of course will be BBQ or carpenter one. I did see a cute one that was a "craft apron" or "coloring apron with pockets for the crayons or craft items. I will make some along that line also. It is so much fun to do these. The young ones really enjoy them especially when they get cook or craft with mom or dad.I also am working making my own bias for some of these. I did a double fold using 4" bias red handkerchief print for the demin ones. I think will make up very cute. I will also make some with 3" bias. for some of the others.
the 4" bias makes a double fold 1" wide after the folding is completed.
Also doing some early spring cleaning and clearing out of clothes and excess items. If I don't do this periodicaly I have a tendency to accumulate too many things that go unused. My plan is to take them to Goodwill or a community auction. It is rewarding to "find" more space to store things I do want to keep and use.
